How you'll make an impact:

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll take charge of creating and managing content across Instagram, Tiktok, X (Twitter), and YouTube with a clear B2B focus. Your job is to help build our founder’s personal brand and amplify our company’s credibility by speaking directly to U.S.-based founders and operators. You’ll create content that positions us as hiring experts—while also promoting our upcoming lead magnets (downloadable PDFs, guides) and free tools for businesses.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can help us bring this vision to life—through high-quality, strategic content that builds trust and attracts business owners looking for help with hiring

This role is perfect for someone who gets B2B tone, understands how to engage startup audiences, and knows how to turn subject-matter insights into powerful, shareable content.

You’ll be expected to perform basic video editing and graphic design tasks to bring our content to life—think reels with captions, Instagram carousels, and short-form talking head clips. Tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar are ideal for the level of polish we’re looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy for B2B Founders & Operators

  • Build and manage a content calendar focused on recruiting, hiring, and operational best practices.
  • Create engaging posts, reels, carousels, and short-form videos featuring our founder’s insights.
  • Tailor messaging to appeal to startup founders, operators, and U.S.-based business leaders.
  • Collaborate with our team to highlight upcoming lead magnets, downloadable resources, and free tools

Basic Content Creation (Design & Video)

  • Use Canva or similar tools to design graphics, slides, and quote cards for social channels.
  • Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts—adding subtitles, captions, and light transitions.
  • Ensure all assets maintain a clean, consistent, and professional look aligned with our brand voice

Brand Growth & Platform Engagement

  • Execute a growth strategy across Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Monitor trends and join relevant conversations to keep our brand visible and authoritative.
  • Help grow both our founder’s personal brand and the company’s business credibility.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and report performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
  • Analyze what content performs best and refine strategy based on real data.
  • A/B test different content types, captions, and formats to maximize effectiveness.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of B2B social media experience targeting U.S.-based companies (not consumer brands).
  • Proven ability to grow and manage brand/founder accounts across Instagram, X, YouTube &TikTok.
  • Strong content writing and storytelling skills—especially for startup and business audiences.
  • Ability to turn complex topics into digestible, engaging content formats.
  • Video editing skills for short-form content (e.g., reels, shorts, TikToks).
  • Familiarity with video editing, social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, CapCut, Hootsuite, etc.).
