Amazon PPC Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a talented Amazon PPC Specialist to join our team and elevate our advertising efforts on Amazon’s platform. In this role, you will develop and manage PPC campaigns, perform in-depth keyword research, and continuously optimize ad performance to achieve and exceed KPI targets.
Responsibilities include analyzing campaign data, generating actionable reports, and utilizing tools like Helium 10 and Data Dive to drive campaign efficiency. You will also collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure strategies align with business objectives and conduct competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities. In this role, you will:
- Implement & Develop PPC Campaigns: Design and execute Amazon PPC campaigns to enhance product visibility, drive traffic, and boost sales.
- Conduct Keyword Research & Market Analysis: Perform keyword research, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities to optimize campaign performance
- Monitor & Optimize PPC Campaign Performance: Continuously monitor PPC campaigns, adjust bids, and optimize ad placements to maximize ROI.
- Conduct Keyword Research: Utilize tools such as Helium 10 and Data Dive to identify high-performing keywords relevant to the products. Analyze search volume, competition, and relevance to select optimal keywords that can drive traffic and conversions for PPC campaigns. Build and manage large keyword lists. Select keywords to use for PPC campaigns. Run PPC tests and analyze & report on results
- Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools to track KPIs, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations for campaign improvements.
- Industry Trends & Compliance: Stay updated on Amazon’s advertising policies, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain campaign compliance and effectiveness.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to align PPC strategies with broader business goals.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify competitive strengths, weaknesses, and new growth opportunities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience managing and optimizing Amazon PPC campaigns, with a record of achieving KPI targets.
- In-depth understanding of Amazon ad types, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Displays, and DSP.
- Expertise in keyword research, listing optimization, and competitor analysis to drive visibility and sales.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making to optimize PPC performance.
- Skilled in using keyword research tools, bid management software, and analytics platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with advanced PPC management tools such as Scale Insights or Data Dive.
- Experience building and managing large keyword lists and conducting PPC tests.
- Ability to analyze and report on campaign results, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Knowledge of Amazon’s advertising policies, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Experience conducting competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities.
